What Clean by Masha collects when you book a cleaning, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.
Last updated August 2026.
What we collect
When you book, we collect and store:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- The address to be cleaned, including any access notes you give us — buzzer codes, where a key is, whether there is a pet.
- The approximate coordinates of that address, so we can check it is inside an area we cover.
- Your booking history: dates, services, hours worked, amounts charged.
We do not take card details on this site. Payments are made directly to us, and we record the amount and date against your booking.
Why we have it
To do the job you booked, to charge the agreed amount, to tell you when we are coming, and to keep the accounting records a business is required to keep.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to. The messages you get from us are about your own bookings.
Who else processes it
These companies handle parts of your data on our behalf. Each one only receives what it needs for its part:
- Google— turning your typed address into coordinates, and putting the visit on the cleaner’s calendar so two jobs are not booked at once.
- Resend — sending email. Receives your email address and the contents of the message.
- Supabase and Vercel — the database and hosting the site runs on.
- Sentry — error reporting, so a broken page gets fixed. We configure it not to send personal data in error reports.
Access notes
The notes you write about getting in are the most sensitive thing we hold, and we treat them that way. They are shown to the cleaner assigned to your visit and to the business owner, and to nobody else. They are not included in marketing, analytics or error reports.
If you would rather not write down where a key is, leave the field blank and tell the cleaner on the day.
How long we keep it
Bookings, invoices and payment records are kept for seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. Access notes are the exception: tell us and we will clear them from a past booking straight away, since nobody needs them once the visit is done.
Reviews stay up until you ask us to take yours down. If you never book again, we still hold the records above for the same period — retention is a legal obligation, not a preference.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. Email mmisachenka@icloud.com and we will respond within thirty days.
We do not send text messages at all. Your phone number is used to reach you about your own booking — a call if something changes on the day — and for nothing else. Email about your booking continues, because that is how we tell you when we are coming.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in if you create an account, to remember where you are in the booking form, and — only if you press “Save my details” after booking — to fill in your address and contact details next time on that device. That cookie holds a signed reference, not the details themselves, and “Not you? Clear them” on the booking form removes it. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share browsing data with advertising networks.
